Indian cricketers attend dinner party at High Commission

The Indian High Commissioner in Bangladesh, Rajeet Mitter tonight hosted a dinner for the cricket team who are here to play the second Test against Bangladesh starting at Mirpur from Sunday.

The players, led by captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, and the support staff, including coach Gary Kirsten, were given a warm reception by the High Commissioner.

High Commission sources said it was a customary dinner hosted in honour of the team and it was attended by prominent members of the Indian community here.

The players and the support staff spent around one and a half hours mingling with those present on the occasion.
