Virat Kohli to lead North Zone in Duleep Trophy

Chandigarh: Virat Kohli of DDCA will lead the North Zone in Duleep Trophy match against West Zone to be played at Rajkot from January 26 to 29.

Sushil Kapoor of Punjab Cricket Association, who has been appointed Manager of North Zone team, said here on Thursday that the team will leave for Rajkot from Delhi on January 24.

The final of the tournament will be played at Hyderabad from February 2-6.

Ravi Inder Singh, Manpreet Singh Gony, Uday Kaul and Love Ablish are the four players from Punjab while DDCA has Shikhar Dhawan, Mithun Minhas, Rajat Bhatia, Parvinder Awana, Punit Bisht and Vikash Mishra.

Haryana Cricket Association has Rahul Dewan and Sunny Singh, while Paras Dogra and V S Malik are from HPCA.

Abid Nabi features from JKCA.

The North Zone team was selected by Zonal Selection Committee under the chairmanship of Yashpal Sharma and was attended by Saleem Khan, JKCA, Chetan Chauhan, DDCA, Bhupinder Singh Sr, PCA, Aman Kumar, HCA and Prem Thakur from HPCA.
